Muddy Young is an alternative pop-rock band from Norway consisting of singer/songwriter Joe Eriksen and guitarist/producer Jarle Hundsnes. The music is influenced by a mix of both genres and artists including The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Artic Monkeys and AWOLNATION, just to mention a few.
They released their debut EP called ‘My Messed Melody’ in 2018 and received airtime on several local radio stations in Norway. Muddy Young has played many live shows in Norway and Europe.

We´ve been buddies since we were kids. We`ve always had that common interest in music and especially in making it, and playing it live
Two boys with a rock n roll dream, no worries, just having fun with music.
Then life hits you… Education and work slowly strangled the art of music out of us, keeping it to a minimum inside our souls. We tried to work and live as expected from us from the society. In this predictable lifestyle the fire inside us grew even bigger than before and music started to flow: words on paper, tunes on guitars melodies and beats pumping wild.
We decided to follow the dream, knowing we would never let it go.
Saved up some cash, started Muddy Young, bought an old camper, grabbed our guitars and just drove. With no plan or destination except to were our music was welcome on a stage.
We played and grew more confident in Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
And most of all, we fell in love with the touring life.
